About Svenmill
Established in 1958, Svenmill continues to serve its long standing customers around the world, supplying fabrics to the decor and furnishing trade for curtaining and upholstery. Our factory in Cape Town, South Africa employs some 250 committed staff split across our production activities in weaving, knitting and stitching.
The start in Decor was just that...a start. We have continued to develop our technical fabrics division and most recently added a focused apparel range including circular knitted fabrics.
We have adopted, in 2013, a sustainable production initiative. After measuring our carbon footprint, we continue to manage our impact on the planet by reducing, reusing and recycling our waste. We now offer fabrics made exclusively from recovered plastic bottles.
We are always learning and delight in solving customer challenges. We draw on our expertise in yarns, fabrics, and increasingly chemistry, to produce and supply consistent and reliable products.
The fabrics produced in our Technical division, SvenTech, range in widths from 10cm up to 700cm with weights from 38gsm to 850gsm.
Svenmill – stylish, secure and sustainable.
